This weekly Breast Conference provides an opportunity for attendees to discuss all new breast cancer patient and post operative breast cancer patients from Springfield Clinic's Breast Team. For the new breast cancer patients, we review initial staging images and pathology reports to develop a treatment plan for the patients. During conference the breast surgeon, plastic surgeon, medical oncologist, and radiation oncologist all discuss a treatment plan for the patient. The post operative pathology reports are discussed and the multidisciplinary group decides on the patient's final recommendation for the patients treatment after their surgery.
